We were very happy with the location and the view was just amazing.
Sixth floor is the only way to go.
Rooms were spacious and love having 2 baths.
All of the amenities worked great.
Pool is big and clean, Hot tub works and is nice.
Shopping carts are very handy.
Parking is great.
We did bring a stand-up fan with us, and it made sleeping very peaceful.
Bed was very comfortable.
Great water pressure and plenty of Hot water.
All of the dishes were usable and clean.
The room could have been a little cleaner upon our arrival, hair and some sand but you're at the beach.
Glass wall is the bomb and love the views. Windows are getting a little dirty on the outside.
All in All, we had a great stay, second time in the same room and we loved it.
Would definitely come back and do it all again

It was a beautiful view! Clean! If you like your sleep, then do not stay in the master because it is blinding in the mornings.
They charge you for everything so it’s not super accommodating if you are traveling in early or staying late, I have never heard of this with an Airbnb so that was annoying.
It was great stay in regards to the view, cleanliness, and plenty of room for you and your guests, easy access to beach and the amenities are nice.

Every thing about this condo is perfect! It truly is a step above a normal condo experience! From the beautiful view outside to the beautiful murial behind the screen that you don’t want to miss! It was equipped with everything you might need! We enjoyed the colored lighting aeound the ceiling and the great king sized beds! Unit was very clean and the staff was great! There was a storm brewing and we even got a visit from the owned Mark Connaly to make sure we were set and to help ready the balcony! We will be back! Greatest beach stay ever!

Amazing location. The bed is comfortable,the ac works great. It is nice to have elevators with carts available. I like that the property is gated and felt safe. My only complaint was that the windows in bedroom overlooking beach were too dirty to see out of. I realize it is not an easy task to clean. Windows over balcony were spotless! Also, you check in at front desk- I kept waiting for check in instructions from company and never got them.

We stayed in 608 for the weekend of the eclipse and we were so happy with the quality of the unit. Good beds good kitchen, best view of the beach and the gulf. Corpus Christi was amazingly nice, clean and seemly safe for a big city. The beach is clean and well patrolled. It is 10 miles from National Seashore, recommended side trip. Good restaurants in the city. The only complains are with Padre Escapes the property managers, only one elevator and it was dirty and its functionality was questionable. It took too long to check in (20 min). On plus side for Padre all employees were friendly and helpful.

We found our perfect returning VACAY spot!

Our Condo had all the amenities needed for our two week stay. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking pots, dishes and utensils needed for cooking your favorite meals. The bedrooms were roomy and the beds were comfy. Both bathrooms were stocked with towels and nicely decorated. The master bathroom was equipped with a walk-in shower. The master bedroom has the best view of the beach. The balcony was our night time spot to enjoy the ocean view, while the sea galls flew by. The Star Fish condo was our home away from home. The pool and hot tub were steps away. The laundry room was by the pool area, which made it convenient to do our laundry while spending time in the pool. We felt safe and secure in the enclosed condo complex. The parking lot was nearby and we never had a problem with security. Best of all the beach was steps away and The Island Market and restaurants were nearby. Mark, was always available and very helpful. We have no complaints. We had a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable time. We can't wait till next year!

We have stayed at many Airbnb's in the last few years and Mark's place has surpassed every one of them! We were looking for a place to escape from the gloom of the Northwest for a few days to a sunny warm beach, and this was just perfect! This condo is on the top floor of a very well maintained complex, right on the beach! It's hard to adequately describe the breathtaking view! The moment you step inside, you are hit with the view from floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom, which is nothing less than spectacular. The weather was gorgeous, and we spent many hours sitting on the outside balcony soaking in sunshine, warmth and the sights and sounds of the beach. The condo itself is just perfect! The decor is a wonderful beach theme, but not overdone. It's comfortable, yet elegant. The appliances are new, as is everything in the condo. We lacked for nothing! The beds are comfortable, and our party of 3 appreciated the 2 lovely bathrooms. Check in was easy with the friendly folks at the front desk, who answered any questions we had. Mark provides a guidebook with lots of information, including suggestions for local restaurants. Mark, himself, is lovely to work with. He answered messages quickly and was just great to us! We would stay in one of his other places in a heartbeat! I can't say enough good things about our stay here.... We've escaped this time of year to Hawaii and to California many times, but this condo and its location was just as good, if not better, than many of those experiences! I'm sure next year it will be high on our list for return. If you are looking for a beachside retreat on Padre Island, stop looking right now and snap this condo up! You will not be disappointed!

The frustrating part about renting vacation condos is that pictures only show the best parts of the stay and you are almost always let down when you arrive. Nothing deceiving about this condo. It appears that this owner has recently remodeled this condo and spared no expenses to make it look like a home, opposed to a rental property. From the high-end beach themed decor to the beautiful wood look tile flooring, to the comfortable beds, to the fully stocked kitchen, it is, as described and more. You cannot beat this location. The condo literally sits less than 100 feet from the beach with a private access door to the boardwalk/beach. No sand dunes to walk over or long walks to get to the beach. You’re right there! The island has everything you need without having to go back over the JFK Causeway. The view from the balcony is phenomenal and the entire back wall is floor to ceiling windows to maximize this million-dollar view. Check in/out took less than a minute and the staff was very courteous. Communication with the owner was very easy and prompt. Any questions I had were answered within minutes. Thanks Mark, we will be staying again!

Agreeing with others, this place had no surprises whatsoever. What you see in the pictures is what you really get! It was really beautiful and waking up to the sunrise with your bed right by the open back wall of windows and sitting right on the beach or the balcony when the sunset over the beach is So Pretty & Relaxing. You’re literally there, down the elevator- out the back condo gates and you’re on the beach! This place had guest towels at the pool to use along with 6 guest gas grills warmed and ready to use an elevator up & down in case stairs are NOT an option. The kitchen had nicely organized pots, pans, cooking utensils, silverware, plates, cups, salt, pepper, a waffle maker, coffee maker, toaster, a home phone, smart TV’s to log on to your account of HULU / NETFLIX or etc. if you decided, icemaker on fridge, microwave & clean fridge! Beds were super comfy! The LED strip of colorful lights above also made it fun! Along with a beautifully painted mural on the wall for photographs. Overall was definitely worth it. Me and My Family very much enjoyed our stay!

Mark’s penthouse was everything and more… it was absolutely lovely. And Mark was a phenomenal host! He personally went prior to my arrival to ensure the unit was just perfect for me. From the moment I walked through the door i immediately noticed all the extra special touches that had been left for me. Little things that went above and beyond to make it special. The view from the balcony was beautiful and even from inside! Oh! And the view is the very clean BEACH- YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE BEACH- Not kinda see the beach, no no from one edge to the other ALL YOU SEE IS ENDLESS BEACH :) With the floor to ceiling windows, you couldn’t escape the beautiful view (but each window/balcony door had very high quality blinds to block the sun or light when you wanted a darker setting for sleeping.. Giving you any option, you wanted :) the Full chef kitchen was GREAT, I cooked every meal which was lovely, you will have everything you need at Mark’s Penthouse, and I guarantee you will be planning your next trip to return before you leave! We absolutely loved this stay! I had a few questions prior to our visit, and Mark was excellent at replying quickly and helping us navigate. I viewed many reviews for couples enjoying their stay, so I wanted to add that we stayed with our children, and it was just as great! The facility is SO CLEAN!! Everyone was very nice. This property was absolutely perfect. We did not want to leave. The condo property is well managed, manicured and very clean. Loved the pool. We spent mornings and evenings on the balcony with a cool breeze after walking on the beach. The beach was very clean, which was more than expected. The condo is extremely comfortable, well stocked for picking up groceries and staying in, and has a desk if you needed to get some work in but hopefully not.

This location was perfect for two single moms and our kids! It was safe, clean, and family-oriented. Our kids got to chatter excitedly and exclaim over the gorgeous view, the sound of the waves, and the seagulls flying above while my friend and I got everyone changed and gathered our things. The beachfront was as close as a quick ride down the elevator and a few steps out the gate! There was even a lifeguard station right in front of the building, which definitely made two single mommas feel much more secure about our children’s safety. And then waking up to the sunrise beaming through the wall of windows and onto our children as they began stirring for the day . . . well, not much could be better than that!

Do NOT underestimate this hidden gem! Most people will judge the age of the exterior of the facility itself. But once you step through the door to this amazing penthouse, it’s like entering another world! 1st off, we were welcomed by cold water bottles and juice in the refrigerator and snacks to munch on. This penthouse has everything and then some! High end kitchen appliances, beautiful granite countertops, colorful backsplash and huge sink! Not to mention everything you need on hand to prepare meals for your family or guests. The color scheme and decor of the entire penthouse is so beachy! The decorator for this penthouse has fantastic taste! 2 king-size beds and the sofa provide plenty of room for 6 people. The view from the balcony from the 6th floor penthouse is beyond words. You get a full view of beautiful Gulf of Mexico and sandy beach! Easy access from the facility to the beach below and a pool to relax by. I can’t say enough to describe this wonderful beach vacation penthouse. It’s definitely something you must see for yourself, and the owner is fantastic at communicating with you. I highly recommend the Five Starfish Penthouse on the Gulf! I can’t wait until we can stay again!

What a great view! Floor to ceiling windows and very close to the shoreline. The property was tastefully remodeled with all the right touches. Super clean which we appreciated. Conveniently located for quick trips to downtown Corpus or to Port Aransas. Also close to Padre Island National Seashore if you like birds. We were able to see many firsts such as Sandhill cranes, Peregrine Falcons, Roseate spoonbills, Crested Caracaras to name a few. We will definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay and will be sure to return. The condo was beautiful and exactly as pictured. Note for those with young children, cars and trucks drive quite fast on the beach out front. Be very conscious of that throughout your stay.

Mark was a very fast and responsive host and super helpful. He’s so sweet and nice but hey this place!!! This is the best view ever… 2 minutes’ walk (maximum?) from the ocean, I will be back! Thank you, Mark.
