We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The condo was cozy with all the necessities. Only a few minutes walk to White Cap beach. Highly recommend for a couples getaway!!

My family loves this property! We stay here every summer. It's walking distance to the beach and anything you need is right around you. The property itself is beautiful and all units are decorated in beachy sea themes. All of the units we've stayed in are clean, cozy and very welcoming. The management team went above all expectations, from booking to reassuring my anxiety prior to arrival to even during the day! The unit however was not like prior stays. Overall it was nice just needed some tending to. AC works however vents are facing walls and not the open area so takes a bit to cool down. Patio door knob needs replacing. Bathroom towel rack and sink drain were broken; husband temporarily fixed during stay. Loved the provided ice trays for guests!! Thank you again and will be back!

The location was perfect. The sheets and towels were very clean. I liked that the resort had a starter kit for the essentials. The staff was very nice when I called for a question, and I liked the fast response when I text as well. I liked the ease of the check in and check out process. The facade of the resort was very beautiful and fun and appealing. There were minor details. The pool was a bit small. I guess maybe because it is a smaller resort, so we did not take advantage of the pool. The microwave was encrusted with overuse of food, not happy with that. The appliances were outdated and rusted but we still took advantage to cook there so we could spend more time at the beach opposed to eating out. We did get bit by lots of mosquitoes in the condo. We are still dealing with all the bites as of today. We will need to buy a special cream. There was a roach in the kitchen on our last night. I believe with a few updates and getting these mosquitoes and roaches under control it would be a fantastic place to stay again.

As usual the managent company, Padre Escapes was so patient, kind, and very helpful. They are courteous and do their best to assist. The rental was clean and convenient,however there was a very loud motor in the kitchen area closet. It would get louder in the evenings. It was very unpleasant and ruined the mood and relaxation. On top of that the day before leaving they started doing construction outside my room. Cutting, dropping of supplies, tools, just constant noise. The guys working were very nice but doing work by my room really was annoying.

Everything was good except ants. We had to buy traps and fight with them. They bit us. This was horrible. You should spray every appartement before check in.

The property overall was very nice and well maintained
The unit was old and not very clean we had to mop the living area floor, the AC was not working but they fixed it within 2 hours of our arrival. The thermostat never worked properly the mop and broom in the unit were old and not very functional and not much use. The living room blind would not go down all the way. We had to hunt for the bedroom remote. Took 2 days to find. It was adequate but certainly not anything else. Very small. Lamp shades stained. Parking spot across the lot. Not convenient at all.

The unit was spotless upon arriving. It was very cold that week and the heat was on when we arrived which was awesome. The decor and furnishings were perfect. Washer and dryer worked well, great water pressure and hot water for the shower. The unit was quiet. Very clean. Needs a few things to be more comfortable for "vacation " time.
Black out curtains! Super BRIGHT in the mornings! Pre Check in process can be challenging. Need to supply packets of condiments, coffee, etc. When arriving late, pita to have to go get coffee, sugar, etc. At least have 1st morning coffee...

When we walked into the unit there was a moldy smell - We called, and they sent over someone to clear the smell. It only really covered the smell up for a short time and the smell did end up coming back quicky during our stay. The pictures certainly painted a different perspective then the actual unit itself. I was disappointed in the building and the interior of the apartment was mostly put on with lipstick as a renovation. We also didn't like that the actual parking spot was across the street in front of a different building as well.

We were in most part pleased with unit. I had wanted a two bedroom fell through, but Padre Escapes helped secure this unit. The furniture was outdated and uncomfortable, but the unit owner replaced while we were there. It was so much better. Padre Escapes was very helpful whenever we needed them; however it did take 4 days to fix the entry lock. I did not think that the maintence of the rest of the building was very good. The hall in front of the unit was never very clean. We saw a house keeper once cleaning hall. We have booked at beach club again, but in a two bedroom, we just need more space for ling stay.

The condo smelled bad upon arrival. The couch was covered with dog hair. All surfaces were sticky. The floor was filthy. The place also has cockroaches. So upon arrival, for vacation, I had to buy cleaning supplies and clean before moving in. We won’t be back!

We stayed at Villa By The Beach Resort from August 9th through August 14th. We were very pleased with everything from the ease of the check-in to the location of the villa to the cleanliness of the room when we arrived. This is a great location to the beach, to the pet friendly concept of the resort. The room was identical to the pictures that were posted on the site. There was a slight musty smell on arrival, but didn't notice it after a while. The room was very comfortable, and my wife and I were very pleased with how comfortable the bed was. We will definitely be back to this resort.

Room was nice and we had a nice stay. A block from the beach, restaurants, etc. Pool was nice. I had two issues that was a detractor for me personally but probably wouldn't affect other families. 1. The property was not listed on the description as not being ADA compliant. The 1st floor units still require 4 to 5 step stairs would made (no wheelchair ramps) which caused issues for my wife with MS coming and going more freely. I would suggest listing this on the description. 2nd, The complex does not provide any type of water hose for it's guest. The unit by the pool was always locked and the hose by the boat trailer parking never had water. These are areas neighboring complexes where we normally stay have an edge for me personally.

We had a nice stay and the room felt like home. It was very comfortable and very well furnished and the location was perfect. The property itself was in disrepair sagging steps and broken handrails leading into the building, and the entire lawn was filled with stickers and grass burs. For what people pay to stay here they dont expect to be digging stickers out of their feet and their pets paws. The unit wasnt unclean but there were underling issues with stickers and grass burs in the furniture, and water roaches in the unit. When the add on fee's nearly double the cost of rent you are paying, you expect a little more from the place. 200$ in pet deposits + 50$ pet cleaning fee? then whats the pet deposit for? 90$ reservation fee and 65$ preparation fee, preparation for what? I could have paid for a 2bedrm suite in town had bfast buffet, a bar in the hotel and spent less $$ and only been 15min further from the beach. The National chain restaurants in town were way better than the way overpriced local ones on the Island you would think people that live on the Island could do fresh fish right. So I can see no advantages to staying on the Island for the added cost on my next visit.

Sorry to hear your issues. The stickers are a battle on the whole island but everyone does their best to manage them. Unfortunately it is out of our control. The fees jumped out so much because the rental rate was so low. Typically it is much higher this time of year. When you bring two pets for the length of time you were staying there are additional fees. If you prefer national chains over locally-owned that's certainly a matter of opinion Hate to hear you were disappointed but we do appreciate your feedback.

the place was cute and it's nice that it was on the 1st floor. Only thing was that when we got there the place still had sand and fur on the floor and sheets and had to do a quick sweep. Called the office to ask about clean up and the quickly responded and help me change sheets. Other than that, it was a nice stay all in all.

We stayed almost 2 months. Block and a half to the beach was awesome. The complex is really nice, pool, hot tub work out room etc. Condo is a good size for two people. Kitchen is small but has everything you need. Great 1st floor location. AC units are right off the deck, so can be a little noisy when the windows are open. Inside is nice, needs a little updating, but again everything you need to be comfy.Owners were nice enough to let our dogs stay and they enjoyed it. Lots of folks with dogs there. Padre Escapes folks were amazing, really glad to have a rental company when you are staying for a few weeks. Very responsive!!

Walking into the building, it is very bad in need of paint and carpeting needs replaced/upgraded. The condo we stayed in was 112. It was ok for a 3 day stay but not up to our standards. The furniture needs replaced as it had stains as well as the table and chairs. Make sure you bring your own pots/pans/cookie sheets/blender etc. Cookie sheets was rusted as well as very stained. Thankfully I had aluminum foil to line them. The one frying pan was Teflon that had many scratches and almost looked unuseable but I needed to fry bacon so I did. At home I throw these pans away if they have just a few scratches. The bi-fold doors to the laundry/trash was just dirty and in bad need of paint. I would take ur own coffee pot too. I wanted to use blender but it had crusted on food inside it so I put it back in the cupboard. We had a dog but the floors/couches had lots of dog hairs when we arrived. The pull out couch and king bed was very comfy. And it’s not a “short walk” to the beach...like a 1/2 mile or more. I personally would not rent this particular room again. Spoke to ppl in hot tub and they said their studio condo was very nice and clean. Pool/hot tub was nice.

My second time to stay at the property. Only complaint is that on Saturday afternoon, we got into the pool and the bottom was gritty and the water was cloudy with sand. There was also a lot of hair in the pool. My suggestion is to clean the pool a few times a day during busy weekends.

Second repeat visit to this particular location and unit in the complex. Overall the location is excellent (5 min walk to beach) and 10-15 min into CC for good selection of restaurants if you want to beyond the island. Drawbacks were lots of dog hair (I have a dog but it wasn't his hair everywhere ... it was long and white). Could use a better cleaning crew. The steel grate on sidewalk outside the master bedroom window is noisy with folks walking by - I was woken up every night and every morning with only about a 5-6hr window of actual sleep which is not ideal for vacation. Recommend to get this fixed asap.

Overall good experience. Clean and well stocked condo. On first floor. Only 2 issues I noticed - 1. Door knob broke apart on 2nd night. It was clearly overdue for replacement before we arrived. I informed the front desk when we checked out. 2. Parking system is for the birds. Assigned parking is given out but the parking spot for this unit is across the lot in front of a different building. There were 4 spots directly in front of the door that were totally unused the whole weekend. Could really reassess parking situation.

Upon arrival the place was neat and looked clean and a card was on the counter stating the unit had been inspected and stocked.... until we saw the ceiling fan in the bedroom. It had not been cleaned in a long time. Several items needed repair, including the broken and unusable toilet paper holder and shower head. The pull out bed in the living room needs a real mattress. The air conditioning vents need updating. Neither one can be the bedroom was aimed at the bed and quite cold, while the living room vent did not cool the room at all. Then came the roaches. The management company offered twice to send someone to attend to all these issues, but we declined as we were resting or gone and didn't want anyone in the condo while we were not there. I hope the owner will attend to these issues as the price per night was a bit pricey for the inconveniences.

We enjoyed our stay very much and the only negative thing is our trip was too short and didn't want to leave! The beach club condo was great, has everything we need like a home, clean and modern. The facility was great, the pool and fitness room was spacious. The location of the condo was very convenient, it's a short walk to the beach. The stores and area attraction is close by as well. We would come back again.

Condo was nice, comfortable and close to beach, the bathroom could have been cleaner, there was an oder coming out of commode, not noticed when lid shut, shower drain clogged, several light bulbs out , tv controller needed batteries, we felt for the price we paid these problems shouldnt have been present

Excellent location. Walking distance to the beautiful beach, the liquor store, convenience store, and our favorite Bar & Restaurant "The Boathouse". You simply must have a Bloody Mary when you are there. Everyone we met on the Island was super friendly. The condo is nothing fancy but it is cozy. It is rather tiny but for our needs (3 Adults) it was okay. The location is most excellent. One complaint - there is no exhaust fan for the oven/stove so if you even whisper the word smoke the smoke alarms go off. The smoke alarms work incredibly well and I am sure they woke up the neighbors in the adjacent property (500 yards away) We cooked bacon one morning. Mistake.
I would definitely stay there again but I would suggest this property for 2 Adults maximum. The bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed I have ever laid on. Sincerely! Unfortunately I was sleeping on the couch. LOL Regarding previous comments about an odor in the unit, There definitely is one. But it was not a real bad odor and we concluded that it was the brand new floor.
We had a fabulous time and wished we could stay longer.

We were victimized by 40 degree below normal temperatures in early November. Discovered there's not much to do on Padre and in Corpus Christi in weather like that. The management company staff suggested we visit Port Aransas. There was nothing to do there either. They did however suggest that we might try to find the senior citizens center there, which we found mildly humorous.

The condo itself was very nice. However, upon our arrival, we found that the we could not turn the shower on to hot water. We reported the problem and a maintenance man came out the same day, with the needed part and repaired it in short order.

Our biggest complaint though was the condition and location of the grills. The description online implied that the grill was conveniently located near our condo. Not the case! The grill was some distance away, old, dirty, rusty, and obsolete! Charcoal! Really?! We tried to grill once and after using an entire bag of charcoal (and freezing during the process), we gave up and brought the slightly warm steaks inside to finish on top of the stove.

We hate to hear that anyone did not enjoy their stay. Unfortunately we do not have any control over the weather and we do have a few cold days every year during which the amount of things to do in a beach/water destination like ours is reduced. Your complaints about the grills is the 1st time we've ever heard that. There are several grills spread through out the complex. They are charcoal grills which are typically preferred to gas grills due to their quality of cooking. The grills are outdoor and do face harsher than normal conditions but they do cook very well, from my experience. Perhaps if you come down again we can we can get together and grill some steaks. This condo was exactly as the photos. The unit was comfortable for the 4 adults in our group, and it would be very nice and spacious for a couple. The weather had been unusually cold and rainy, but we had a couple of very relaxing days on the beach. The pool was too cold for me, but we used the hot tub. This is my second time to use Padre Escapes and I couldn't be happier with their service.

Excellent Rm. Great value. Exceptional service. 5 min walk to the beach. Jeremy C. was very good to work with, even gave us some great advice on where to fish which worked out very well for us. The room was very, very clean. 2 minute walk to the pool and hot tub. had 3 grills which we utilized 2 out of 3 nights to grill our catch. Couldn't ask for a better value, service, or location. Definately my first choice when I return. Jeremy will take care of you.

Great location great beaches with no seaweed 5 minutes if you want to walk from condo. Clean! Me and my family will be back!,

We spent 3 nights & the location was very convenient to the Padre Island National Seashore and a short distance from the public beach. The property management group made everything easy. The condo was very clean.

Waited for the whole weekend to fix the celling fan's switch. That's the only complaint to this property management company.
