Gulfstream 505

2nd time in Gulfstream 505 and the views were still wonderful. For the most part the condo is very accommodating; however, the kitchen faucet STILL needs to be replaced since the water will not completely shut off. This has been a big problem both stays. And, while we did not use the hall shower, there was a lot of mold. It's time for some updates to this condo.

So this is a huge condominium and yet only one of the 2 elevators worked and of course it was on the complete opposite side of where our room was. Not to mention, the elevator was a breeding sanctuary for mosquitoes.
Overall, The room was great, the view was amazing! And the beach wasn’t over crowded either bc we went after the whole tropical storm Beryl fiasco.

We were asked to change reservations at the last minute because our original condo wasn't available through Padre Escapes. The condo we received was extremely dated. The ceilings were yellow and the the wallpaper was peeling from the walls. The kitchen did not include enough dishes and cookware to house 6 people, either. I was disappointed to say the least. We requested a portable bed and it took two phone calls and 4 hours to get it. We had to wash our own towels because housekeeping at the complex wouldn't do it for us and that wasn't explained well. The view was amazing, the condo however was less than desirable. Won't likely rent from Padre Escapes anytime in the future.

Condo 505 at Gulfstream is incredible! The views from the wrap around balcony are spectacular! This unit does not disappoint as you have a water view from just about every room in the condo. The unit is very clean and has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely rent this condo again. Also the property at Gulfstream is very nice, they have a wonderful pool and hot tub and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nicely appointed, clean. LOVE the wrap around patio! The upper floor allows views up and down the beach! There were spots of paint peeling if of two doors. The kitchen wasn’t stocked with even salt & pepper or ample dishwashing pods. Bring extra bath towels & beach towels! The smart TV wasn’t able to access my own YouTube or movie account (3 star situation).

This property is awesome! It was very clean and comfortable. The view through the floor to ceiling windows gives you a panoramic view of the beach and ocean. It was beautiful to wake up to. The beach is well maintained. It was great to be able to drive your vehicle on the beach with all your stuff for the day but also be able to walk back to your room if you needed to. Ice is available on premises for $3.00 so you can refill your coolers easily. We will be back!!

Prepare to enjoy yourself fully at this place. Everything about this condo is top notch - wonderful decor, amazing views from the wall of windows and the location can't be beat. Mark communicated quickly and effectively. The "Welcome Book" emailed to us was a nice touch. Very informative and easy to use. We would definitely stay here again. Response from Mark: Thanks Genny! If your future vacation plan dates are already booked, simply view all four of our Island Vacation Homes. We have named and themed each home differently with unique decor that fits each homes name. We have our first home called THE SEAHORSE with great the amazing wrap around balcony and sweet seahorse decor. Then we have THE PELICAN where you will see daily fly by's of groups of real pelicans and pelican decor to boot. Then there is our newest sister home that we call the FIFTH FLOOR FLAMINGO with views and decor that will leave you breathless. We even have a LIVE BEACH CAM of your beach views.

We usually stay in Port Aransas, but with the pictures online of the beach, we decided to give this place a try. We were very pleased to find it right on the beach with floor to ceiling windows with an amazing view. The pool area and hot tub was nice. Easy access by elevator and the room was spacious and clean. It was a great getaway!

The place was absolutely amazing. I had everything I could possibly need, and if I had a question about anything, it was answered in the home details that Mark sent to me. I had one maintenance issue (a breaker had flipped) and within minutes of calling someone was there to fix it for us. I will definitely be back.

Nice option to swim in pool, too! Washers / dryer are available, but coin / card operated. We arrived on a Saturday and the beach was PACKED!!! I was told it’s a “public access” beach point. When you looked out the condo window, it looked like a NASCAR parking lot tailgater on the beach and it was very noisy. For someone from the North, you wouldn’t except that because we do not park on the beach- we have parking lots. This is not the owner’s fault of course- just part of the Texas customs and culture, I have learned. The next day (Sunday) was much quieter. You could finally hear the ocean (instead of loud stereos competing with each other). Monday was even nicer- calmer and less populated. More relaxing. Overall, it is a great spot and very clean. Nice to have a few beach chairs and surf boards in the unit, though one was cracked in half so not really useable. Not sure if that was the owner’s or a previous guest. The owner was very kind to call us as we checked in and was very responsive to questions. We would recommend this unit to small families!

The host is very hospitality and responsive. Even though we arrived late, everything was ready with a fast check-in. Everything as he described. The view exceeded our expectations. A panoramic view with 6 chairs to enjoy the beach, wind, sipping at night or watching the sunrise with coffee. He put thoughts on every single decoration and need for your stay such as sanitizer bottle, towel, beach accessories, Wi-Fi, Netflix, books, games, coffee station with coffee, sugar... The complex has a big pool which leaves much social distancing for us. Above all, we felt clean and safe at his place during this COVID pandemic.

Amazing place! Gorgeous view. It was everything we were looking for! Mark was so fast in response. Loved waking up to a beautiful beach! A very secure area parking lot is always being supervised and security is always around to keep the Airbnb areas secure. Although we were on the 5th floor, we had no issues with noise on upper level above nor next to us always a nice and relaxing space from start of trip to finish. Definitely will book again! HOPEFULLY SOON!

We were very happy with our stay at the fifth-floor flamingo. My sister and her husband stayed the night. My husband and I had the whole time together to enjoy our vacation and relax. The beachfront views were spectacular, inside the condo and outside the balcony. Cleanliness is my top pet peeve. The condo definitely met my expectation of cleanliness, was nicely furnished and kitchen was well equipped. We had 2 burnt light bulbs. Mark, the property owner took care of the bulb replacement right away. Mark was easily accessible for any questions we had before and after our stay. His response was very quick. We appreciated the welcome guidebook, which had all the info we needed in case of any questions about the condo. It included arrival and departure info, which made things a lot easier and smoother to check in and check out. The laundry facility was conveniently located next to the pool. We did some laundry while relaxing at the pool. Towels were provided at the pool and floating pool toys. The pool facility was very clean. Gas grills, picnic tables, and gazebos were also available. We enjoyed our own tour of the beach. Who needs a gym when walking and jogging on the beach was great. With the warm weather and humidity, you can sweat it off easily. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about the condo, the location, amenities, property and our stay. The staff at the Gulf Streams were very nice and helpful. Thank you Mark for a wonderful vacation. It was a pleasure to meet you when we bumped into you outside the elevator during check out. We definitely look forward to coming back. Very comfortable for our family of 4 adults. If you like a place with a view, then this is the place to take it all in. Non-stop enjoyment of the ocean. After spending time on the beach, a nice shower at the condo, and then more ocean from the comfort of the wrap around balcony with ample seating. You can choose to avoid the sandy mess if you like and still be entertained by the costal waves. Beautiful sunrise. Take a walk toward the jetty/pier at sunset and prepare to be mesmerized!

A truly glorious view from the wrap-around balcony! We really loved just strolling right onto the beach and then, tired from swimming, sitting on the balcony watching the waves and birds. The full moon shining on the water our last few nights was breathtaking. The apartment is sparkling clean, well equipped, comfortable, and quiet. The complex was very busy when we were visiting but this apartment is on the corner and has excellent storm windows, so we were not disturbed by noise at all. Many thanks to Mark for his thoughtfulness and ready availability. We've stayed in a number of Airbnb apartments and Mark really stands out for superb, friendly hosting.

Great place for a getaway. We wanted to go to the beach but having a 3-month-old baby we’re not allowed too so we did the next best thing. This room makes you feel like you’re on the beach. While the baby’s asleep on the bed. Totally worth every cent. Mark also has it 100% complete with all the dishes we needed for our stay. He is also very responsive. I live here but had an issue with a water heater so needed a place for the weekend. I am very used to the beach. But walking in I literally stopped in my tracks because the view was stunning. Beautiful views, large windows, open concept living areas, pool was down for part of the stay but they did fix it, hot tub was warm, easy drive to restaurants or groceries, beach was pretty but by the north fishing area it’s a little debris filled. One of my favorite places I have ever rented. The view, location, and amenities were perfect. We did all the things that make this place special including building a fire on the beach and horseback riding. Mark was responsive and accommodating. If you are debating how many nights to stay, stay as long as you can because you will not want to leave.

Great spot and right on the beach. If you want to take your truck onto the beach the entrance point is one block over. Was able to book at the last minute with no issues and we extend a day more. The balcony is wrapped around so you get an even better beach view.

Marks condo was amazing. We let mark know we were arriving late, and he took the extra time to call me and let me know exactly what to do. It is the perfect location for being on the beach all day, and also being able to take small breaks so you don’t get sunburned. It has everything you need for a vacation. My family and I can’t wait to stay at one of Marks’ properties again on our next vacation.

This time at the beach with family was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations imaginable. The rooms were beautifully appointed with a matching the theme (Flamingos) will all the luxury and comfort one would ever want. The corner wraparound balcony provides a picturesque view up and down the beachfront. As far as cleanness and a supplied kitchen, all the appliances and electric additions (blender, rice cooker, mixer, and coffee makers – pods & grounds) are all available. The resort has 8 gas grills available for your personal use and a very nice pool area to relax around into the evening hours.
