Great Getaway

This is the perfect spot if you're having a large family gathering. The condos are spacious and clean. They do have security at night. Not to far from grocery store.

Could use a bit of TLC

The property could us some TLC. The location was great. The couch was not comfortable and had stains on it. 2 roaches came out when I was cooking dinner one night. the dishwasher smelled really bad inside. the dining table centerpiece was on the dish drying mat which also had stains on it.
no essential condiments, ie salt/pepper, and no coffee filter or coffee.

We enjoyed our stay in unit 216. The only negative was the sofa sleeper was very uncomfortable to sit on. the mechanism was sunken down and the cushions sunk way down making igt hard to sit on.

Away from home

Corpus is always a fun place to visit. The weather went away another direction and that was good. The food was good in all the restaurants we visited. Shout out to Boathouse Grill, it was great and we found a small ice cream place that recently opened. It was good. The condo itself was fine. No issues except it had dirty areas that could be cleaned. Such as baseboards and AC grill covering, it was filthy. The ceiling fans blades were also very dirty. The pool was too cold to get in until the last 2 days.. It also was too dirty, another guest called Padre Escapes and soon the pool was cleaned. We enjoyed our stay and took it all in stride.

Nice condo with great view.

This was a great unit. We had a young child and a baby. It was nice to be able to step out on the balcony and see the ocean. It was steps from the pool and right on the beach which allowed for maximum water time. We would stay here again.

Nice 4 day get away

Cozy Condo steps from the beach

Perfect vacation location

Rental property met our expectations. Property was clean and location was perfect. Short walk and you were right on the beach. Pool was also nice. Only thing I wish had been added to the property details is that the outdoor closet is full of beach toys and boogie boards. Wish I had known this before going into town and buying more. Otherwise an overall great stay!

Always a great stay!

We have stayed at El Constante before in two different units. We love staying here because the location is the best and if we need anything at the unit while we are at the beach we can just walk and get it or if somebody in the family would like to go back to the property we don’t have to all pack up. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. This location in particular wasn’t as updated as the last unit we stayed at but still clean. The only thing was there was a very strong moisture smell entering this unit. I think it was due to the humidity and the AC temp being at 78. Once we turned the air lower the smell lessened. Overall, we enjoy staying at this property with our family very much. Always a great experience!

Being a beachfront property, our condos will experience relatively higher humidity levels. The unit is in a great location. Dated but clean beds could use new mattress. A great bed makes a good Getaway great. Loved the balconies. We would stay again.

Birthday Fun Day

The ladies at the leasing office were very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay and it was so wonderful that the beach was steps away. The room was well decorated, stocked and was fairly clean. I would however suggest that the clean up crew spends a little more time to sweep underneath furniture and sleeping areas. We would definitely stay again

Pool and Hot tub

We always enjoy our stay. The pool was very murky the entire time, and the hot tub still has a leak sense last summer so water from the pool does not flow into the hot tub like it should. We love the location and being able to walk onto the beach. The condo was cute, but upstairs was very hot.

Whitecap Beach condo rental

Nice little condo, close to the Whitecap Beach jetties. Everything clean. No locking doors in the place which was fine with us (hang a bandanna on the bathroom doorknob!). Ceiling fan in master bedroom VERY noisy (wobbles and clicks). Other than than, great little spot.

Always Enjoy May Stay

This is my second time returning. This was my additional rental for this stay. I was not pleased with the condition of this unit. The sofa was tattered, the curtains were in poor condition, and overall the unit needs updating.

Run Down, Loud Parties, Ruined our Vacation!

Wow - the photos in the picture for this rental must have been taken 15 years ago. The condo was run down and dirty. We didn't feel like we could cook in the kitchen it was so nasty, so we opted to eat out during our visit.

Our neighbors had loud parties and banged on the walls until well after midnight while others were toasting their friends over cases upon cases of beer and going crazy in the pool area where signs post no alcoholic beverages. We won't be back. Ruined our vacation.

We had an overall great time. The only thing that bothered me about this single location was the doors wouldn't shut completely. It also took us twice as long to get packed up because our door code no longer worked at 1030 with checkout being 11. Other then that it was definitely a really great time just like all other times!

Perfect little getaway spot

This little place was recommended to my family by a friend. We loved it! The place was clean when we arrived. I loved the app too with all of our stay information. It was the perfect place to take our toddler to the beach for the first time!

It was okay

I always come to these condo since I was kid and it was good everything was good but the doors where messed up wouldn’t close the shower handles are all mixed up and bottom restroom barely even worked

I'd rather stay home.

My unit was in desperate need of updating. The carpet on the stairs and upstairs is very old. Also, the air conditioner upstairs didn't work very good and there were no additional fans. When we asked the front desk about it they said just turn off the vents downstairs. Not a very good answer :-( the edge around the refrigerator door was very dirty and it looks like they kind of just hit the high spots when they cleaned the whole condominium. It was really disappointing because the beach actually was very clean this year. I have to admit I am somewhat of a neat freak but that room even grossed my husband out :-( even around the pool wasn't clean. There were cigarette butts laying on the ground.

Loved it

I just wish i knew it had a bar b que pit. I didn’t see it until the day before we were leaving. And I wish it had the washer and dryer in the rooms like the last place we stayed in.

JUNE VACATION - WINDHAM

We were very satisfied with the location of PEscapes and beach access. Major construction of the facility hindered beach access. Unit 216 was old and in need of some upgrades like carpet and blinds. Bathroom fixtures needed attention. Glass sliding doors needed adjustments and lubrication. Needed throw rugs at front door to help with tracking of sand into the unit. Needed a small vacuum downstairs to vacuum up sand easily. Outside washing machines were in poor condition and dryers ran but did not dry clothes.

Started off bad but got better

Initially was checked in to #215, A/C was not working when we got all our stuff moved. Had patience and waited for A/C technician but couldn't fix it. Fortunately # 216 was available next door which we gladly accepted. Location and people are awesome. Guess it was just bad luck the A/C blew before we.got there. Also forgot to bring coffee, none in the room,
