We usually rent this specific condo when we visit Whitecap beach. The place is always clean and there is plenty of space for our small family. Plus, it's only steps away from the beach. However, this time the community pool was very dirty. It was a bit of a bummer because we usually like visiting the pool in the evenings. Hopefully the pool is cleaner next time, but the condo always delivers.

We hadn’t been to Padre Island in years and our stay here was magnificent. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. The beach location was perfect. Sitting outside of our room was very relaxing and breezy. The pool was large and clean. Sorry Port A but we’ve located our new paradise here.

This property (El Constante) is truly on the beach meaning no dunes to walk over to access. This unit is on the quiet side of the building towards the end facing the dunes and no other buildings with parking right in front. You can see the ocean and sunrise from the front porch. The king bedroom was comfy, shower pressure great, TVs are big, and kitchen was a perfect setup. If you order food delivery at night, know that not all drivers know there’s a backside drive to those units so we ended up meeting them in the main parking lot. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.

A/C was out when we checked in. They sent service and they put window units in for overnight. A/C was fixed next day and eveeything was OK. It was just the anxiety of first day no A/C.

This is our second time staying at this particular unit and it does not disappoint. The rental is clean, the bed is comfortable, and it's only steps away from the beach. The pool area is also clean and family friendly. Great location to relax and enjoy some quality family time.

This condo was great. I spent SO much time researching hotels, condos, and home rentals to surprise my boyfriend a milestone birthday. This condo was by far the best deal in terms of location, setup, and price. It was super clean and tidy inside, the air conditioning worked perfectly (though in November it’s obviously not very hot out), and the hot water lasted through both our showers no problem. Lots of storage room in the bathroom and bedroom closet, wifi works great, and they even supply you with a “paw plunger” to clean sand off your dog’s feet if you bring your pup. They also leave a couple extra trash bags, two dishwasher pods, and two paper parking permits for you.
Only things I would point out are that the bed is a on the firm side and squeaks a bit when you’re simply rolling over, the bedroom could definitely do with a room-darkening curtain (it only has plastic blinds to block out the bright parking lot lights), and, as other people have pointed out, you can easily hear the people upstairs. I think it’s just the way the building is, not necessarily that they’re stomping around or anything.
Anyway, the access to the beach, easy walking distance to the channel (where we saw a bunch of dolphins), and proximity to several restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, and souvenir shops, as well as easy driving distance into downtown Corpus, plus the way the condo is maintained, makes this place unbeatable. As we were leaving, my bf told me we should keep 127 in mind :). Thank you!

Great except for the bedroom window. It faced the parking lot and the room was very bright at night. We had to put a car window shade to block some of the light. Blackout shades or curtains would help

We had a wonderful stay! The staff on premises were responsive and professional. We highly recommend this property.
NOTE: We were from out of state (FL). There were many ancillary items with which we had to provide that normally we would have brought had we not been using air travel (chairs, beach towels, shampoo, dishwasher tabs, cooler, etc. It would have been nice if following our stay and purchase of these ancillary items we could have left them for a future guest)

Very clean, updated paint, décor, appliances, and the mattress was perfect. This unit was ground floor, our parking spot was right outside the door. It was very quiet and directly next to the beach. The beach is awesome, very large, very clean, and dog friendly. We brought our two dogs along and the condo is perfect for dogs. The condo is in a good location, ample parking, easy access to restaurants and gas. We never went to the pool as we were at the beach the entire trip.

The condo I stayed in this time was renovated and is absolutely beautiful!!!! The pool heater wasn’t Working one day but was fixed the next. They were very quick to fix the problem. The young girls at the front desk were very pleasant and friendly. I was also very happy to see they checked the guests for bracelets at the pool. Enjoyed my stay will be coming back in a month. The condo was updated and had new appliances. The kitchen had anything you will need to cook and bake. Big king bed was very comfortable. Didn't try the couch bed. Large tv's in living area and bedroom. Large bathroom and walk in closet. The one big company is a light that is on all night, just outside the bedroom window. It lights up the room. Could use some room darkening shades. Access to the beach is just outside your door. Pool was heated and very nice. Unfortunately the weather was not as warm as we expected, and the winds were terrible all the time. We loved the seawall walkway. The property management staff were very helpful with recommendations on where to visit and eat.

Loved this one bedroom condo. Bedroom is spacious, bathroom has plenty of room but if you like to cook the kitchen area is very small. Kitchen is stocked fully with everything you need to cook and eat. It was a short walk to the beach with easy access. The beach is also very clean and people are wonderful with anything you might need. We tried to bury our beach umbrella and a gentleman came over with shovel and helped us. Quite enough to have quick nap while laying out. The pool is the hot spot for lots of people. Condo is Clean inside and kept clean outside. Everyone here including the guests were so friendly. Will book again!

All in all we had a great vacation. Being right next door to a major construction remodel of the next unit was quite noisy and Unit 127 was a pet friendly unit, which may have accounted for the strong smell of bleach. Otherwise everything was great!

Super GREAT location on the beach!! The bed was not very comfortable but still a great experience. The counter tops and most areas seemed very clean. Our feet however were turning black from walking on the tile floor from whoever was previously there and before we'd even gone out ourselves . Also, there were really gross stains on the couch chair where you could tell multiple people have rested their hands on. We did enjoy our stay there very much.

Room was nice but would have liked a heads up regarding construction. Had to walk clear around complex to get to pool or ocean front or go through construction zone. Knowing that I would have gotten closer to the front, if not the front. But, I guess that is life.

The condo we stayed in was nice,, just the right size for two of us. It was clean especially being a pet friendly condo. The only complaint was the construction being done on the same side of building we were on. We had to walk past all of it and the workers everyday to get to the beach.

Overall, great spot for a quick getaway for a couple. Nice location, well maintained and right next to the beach; fantastic pool too. The unit was nicely maintained and comfortable. Only real downside was the bedroom was too bright at night from the parking lot lights. They should add some better light blocking window treatments in here.

Also, be prepared for mosquitos. This is not a ding on the property, but the overall location of the entire area. None on the beach, but they like to hang out in the entry areas due to the wind breaks provided there and the dunes are where they lurk.

Great little place to enjoy a week at the beach with the family dog. We read the other reviews, and yes, being on the main floor, folks upstairs (and the cleaning team) can be loud. The AC units are outside the main bedroom window, and one of the four will wake you up and get motivate you to the beach! BUT, this a hidden treasure and was a great stay.

We had a pretty good experience. We initially had trouble getting the AC/Thermostat set, but did with some help, the next day. Told them the batteries were weak, but didn't believe me. I used a set of my batteries to get it working. Bedroom was a little stuffy. The ceiling fan did not get up to speed. The window in the bedroom didn't have darkened shades, and with the lights outside, the room never really got dark. Our place didn't have a table and chairs. Had to get some from down the way from an apartment that was being used and had extra. Seems like there would be more toilet paper and towels.

Liked this location as it is at the end of the street and was right on the beach. Close to all amenities. Not as busy as Port A. Like having your own beach. Facility also has a pool if you don't want the ocean. I liked the easy check in and out you do from your cell phone. Our unit was good - great AC too cool down quickly. Had everything we needed. Good wifi - usually don't get that in these kind of rentals. One downside was shower head dribbled.

The 6 hour drive was definitely worth it! Weather was great, although a bit windy. Even though it was spring break, the beach was not that crowded. The beach was super clean. The city of Corpus Christi does a great job maintaining things. Swimming in the surf was amazing, and fishing on the jetty closely was awesome. The only issue we had was that most grocery stores were out of needed items due to the recent pandemic of Covid-19. We did, however, find the essentials over a few days time. Other than that, the staff was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely come back again. Thank you!

Staff was great! Proximity to the beach was just what I was hoping for. With regard to the condo itself, water pressure in the shower was awful...not much more than a trickle and a large portion of the shower curtain liner was covered with mold. However, that won’t keep me from returning to El Constante - I’ll just hope one of the other units (#108–128) will be available for next year’s trip to Padre Island!

All tile flooring made sweeping sandcastles from feet and paws a breeze. Enjoyed many evening hours on the shady porch. Parking was available right in front of unit which made loading up for beach trips MUCH easier. We would stay again.

We go every year and stay but this time was in a different unit. Had a smell in room had to burn candles to cover smell. A/C needs service, not properly charged and filter needs replacing ( I know, am a tech) hard to control temperature, probably high ac bill. Will be back, but different ynit.

Loved the location. The unit could use a deep clean, new dishes and utensils. The utensils were gross and not useable. Does need extermination, we had a large roach visit us in the shower! Dead roach now of course... Bed was firm and bedding average. Personally, I might return, but willing to spend extra for a better unit.

I should have asked about handicap accomodations, as the stairs were a problem. Bathroom fan screeched & did not work. Door lock was hard to open. We were not warned about falling rocks & plaster. It would have been nice to be offered a different room. Staff was nice. Pool was beautiful.

The location is wonderful and easy access too many activities; fishing, dining, horse back riding, etc. Unit #127 faces the sand dunes and the beach is just at the end of the property. The beach road (Access 3A) is also next to the property for you to drive and park at the beach. Unit is older, the A/C doesn't send cold air to the bedroom, but has a ceiling fan. The bathroom fan does not work properly. Unit is well stocked for utensils/pots/pans/plates/cups/toaster/microwave, etc.

The condo was very nice! WiFi not so much. Plenty of room in the condo. Very close to the beach..beautiful sunrise!! Close to everything..fishing, swimming, restaurants! Will be back!! Sauna & pool but no alcohol at the pool. I guess because there are a lot of families but no big deal. Overall, awesome weekend!

First time staying right next to the beach and it was the perfect location. We were able to walk to the beach from our condo, the pool was right there too. Room was clean and the ac kept us cool during the heat of the day. I would stay there again
