Everything was perfect! Beautiful view from the balcony, everything you need in the kitchen, decor very nicely done. We stayed for a month and was not in need of really anything. We would definitely stay again.

Loved the location with how easy it was to get to the beach. Also close to a gas stations, grocery store, restaurants. Port A easy 25 min drive, Corpus easy 15-20 min drive. Pool was nice to come to after a beach day. Great communication from host.

Cute little studio that served its purpose. We always stay at the Beach Club but usually get a condo bigger than a studio. The bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed except for a washer and dryer in the unit. I like to wash all my wet clothes before I get home. That was the only down fall but it wouldn’t stop me from renting it again. I loved that it had blackout curtains because the complex is very bright at night. The windows allowed for a nice view of the water.

Cute little condo. It is very cozy. Super close to the beach. Like a 3 minute drive. Only one reserved parking spot but has visitor parking nearby. The start up essentials were more than enough for our 2 night stay. Bring your comforter, towels, the coffee pot has for pods and filter, restroom essentials and condiments like sugar salt pepper etc. We Didn’t get to try out the pool because the climate was too cold the remainder of our little getaway. It was a hassle there are no elevators and it was hard getting things in and out while looking over our son at the same time. Also the cold water did not work in the shower at all so the water was super HOT but we did our best with that since temps were in the low range outdoors anyways. Check that out right when you arrive so you have time to call it in if it’s going to be a problem for you. We called in another issue with the shower knob and did mention the no cold water but didn’t push much on it after I saw it was still only hot water. However They were very quick to arrive. . A little more kitchen space would have been ideal but We managed. Recommend this place if you don’t mind the stairs and if you are looking for something small and cozy that doesn’t break the bank. Fit 4 of us but if you don’t want to feel crowded I recommend 2 people maximum. Decoration and upkeep was beautiful and very clean. All in all I would visit again.

I greatly enjoyed the experience here. The location is a short walk to the beach. The weather was wonderful. The only thing I had concerns about was the laundry service on the property. The washers did not work for me so I had to find an alternative. Overall 11 out of 10!!The condo was beautiful and well equipped. Will Definitely be back!

Love this area & the view from my unit was Awesome!! Super close to the first time in Texas for the winter as i do Florida.. lots cooler than Florida.. but the plus is not as crowded or as expensive!My only neg. of the unit was the need for upgrades in kitchen counters-cabinets..bathroom counter.. Newer Bedspread etc!!Just a complete upgrade in paint. .. making use of of the sq. Footage to make the unit make the most of the view.. After seeing other units it really needs to be Updated!! Its a Diamond but its in the Rough��So please update your unit��

The place was perfect. Everything we needed besides food. Did not even mind the stairs at all, the view of the ocean was worth it. Husband and I came back from our beach therapy to find a personal gift from rental company. That personal touch was awesome. Would rent again for sure.

Everything was clean and nice. Beautiful view from the third floor balcony that faces the Ocean.
Perfect spot for two people.
Only negative was bedding. Bed was fine. Sheets and pillows were cheap. That being said, I would stay here again.

Functional for 1-2 adults, compact kitchen, great refrigerator, sink good, ice maker good. Had a blender and a couple other small appliances. Bring your own pots and pans. The ones provided are not sufficient. Balcony was good. Cable tv only. Couch was good. Bed is a full, not a king as advertised in subscription. Check in process was pretty down to the wire with a lot of we'll get back to you. No elevator, 3rd floor

Thank you for your feedback, we will check on the pots and pans to make sure they are up to standard but this is the first complaint of this sort that we've heard. The bed in this unit is a queen, not a king or full and we do advertise it as a "comfy queen size bed"

Easy check-in. Front staff Super nice. Had info and package ready for us upon arrival. Condo has great location and view from balcony. The evenings had the sun behind us for perfect relaxation on the balcony for drinks and music. The place is perfect for a couples getaway. Clean and looks like pictures so no surprises. Full kitchen was good for cooked meals instead of spending lots of $$$ going out to eat. Big walk-in closet perfect for luggage. Downside, no elevator. No need going to gym will get exercise on the stairs. But the pool or beach helps ease the soreness. Beach literally 5 minute walk. Will come back for sure.

Nice room for two, clean, good price and good location, not too far from the beach. It did get a bit warm at night because the A/C kept turning off. Our second night there we had to park by the pool because someone had taken our reserved parking place. This was our second time renting from Padre Escapes, we will continue to do so on our family visits.

Everything was in order. The place was great because you never know what u are walking into. I appreciate the price I got and I tried to leave the place better than I received it. And on that note, the kitchen sink pipes under the counter sprung a leak. I re connected the pipes and hopefully that fix the problem .

My husband and I have visited these condos in the past. This visit was with my 19 year old daughter. The condo was perfect... Great view from balcony. Perfect size room for the two of us. The beach was a block away and you are able to drive car on beach (with permit fee, it was $12 for year). We used the gym and heated pool and hot tub were great for this March stay. Great customer service from property rental company. Fabulous sunrise in morning over water. Condo was clean and area around was pretty. Would recommend.

All went well. The Management Company took care of a ceiling light issue promptly. The condo was clean. The complex is pretty full so be aware the pool will be full on the weekends.

Very organized. Greatly appreciated the courtesy extended to us for an early check in. VERY clean. Loved the welcome bag and amenities provided to get us through the first couple days. GREAT location. GREAT view!! Yes, it's on the third floor, but don't let that deter you. It's an amazing view!! I LOVE waking to natural sunlight. It does have blinds, but no curtains, so if you need to sleep in, bring an eye mask. Great set up. Loved the swivel flat screen TV. Didn't watch it much, but it was a brilliant set up from couch to bed channel surfing in the late hours. THANK YOU for providing WIFI! LOVE the full size Fridge. Really great place. almost hesitated leaving too good of a review because I don't want anyone to snatch up my vacation days at this awesome place.

The overall experience from booking the room to checking out was pleasant and easy. The location is very close to the beach, its about a 2 minute drive and most. There are many beaches and other attractions to take advantage of while you are there. Plenty of goods eats as well. Not far from Corpus and plenty of piers and shoreline to fish from.

I would highly recommend this to any family member or friend!

We loved this place because it was sized right and priced right for our small family (2 adults and a 2yo child). We felt no need to be right on the water — the beach is literally 60 seconds away by car at the end of the road. When you drive there, you can pick your spot on the beach — or go to a different one if you like — and swim all day and into the night. A permit costs a few bucks and lasts all week as I recall. The beaches were clean and with plenty of elbow room. We loved the simple, clean furnishings in the condo. It's great to see a place without the horrible tile or '80s-era furnishings in other condos. They also have nice pool, coin-op washers/dryers ($1.25 each) and a surprisingly decent fitness center on the premises. TIP: to keep sand out of your car, bring a plastic bucket! Fill with sea water and rinse off feet before you get into the car. The condo was the perfect get-away for us. One drawback, it is on the 3rd floor reached only by steep stairs — good exercise. The fridge, A/C, shower/ bath, lights, TV, bed, dish washer all functioned properly as expected. The small bathroom rugs needed to be cleaned so we washed them during our stay. One star deducted for that on cleanliness.

I found this place out of pure luck! I was looking for a one night stay for this summer but waited until last minute. This place had a one bedroom available so I went ahead and booked it over the phone. Once I showed up to check in the staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful! After checking in I went up to my room and was amazed at how beautiful and clean the place was! You will not be able to find a better place for the price. I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

The studio that we stayed in was perfect. It worked well for what we needed. We made a lot of our meals in the studio. It was close enough to the Gulf to see it from the windows of the studio and was within walking distance. We were surprised that so many attractions and restaurants were closed. The weather was ok at best.

Overall I am very satisfied. The Padre Escapes organization and staff and courteous and helpful. The room was great - clean, comfortable, and perfect size for 2-3 people. The balcony was nice to have with a view of the beach. Only 2-3 blocks walking distance to the beach. Also a short drive away from many good restaurants.

Only cons were:
(1) The A/C didn't work quite as expected. Seemed like it would turn on/off whenever it wanted to. However, we called in for maintenance and they "may" have fixed the problem, but I couldn't tell. It didn't bother us too much.
(2) The water hose station to clean off the sand from your car would have been very very useful, if it worked...The water was off and we were informed that it only works 1 day a week.
(3)The bathtub was clogged, as the water did not drain quickly. However, I called in for maintenance and the problem was resolved in less than 24 hours.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay! The apartment felt like home away from home. All the amenities of the condominium was a plus! I would recommend to others! Thanks!

My wife and I celebrated our 34th anniversary at Padre Island since we both wanted to be by the beach. We are both from the Monterey Bay, California and miss the water. Although there is a difference, we just wanted to hear the waters breaking at the shoreline. We were thrilled to find out that our place was so close to the beach access, an excellent view of the water, and the amenities included but not limited to a dry sauna, workout room, indoor/ outdoor lounge area, pool and hot tub!This is an anniversary that will remain in our memories and, needless to say, I scored points that will take me to our next anniversary!

We enjoyed our stay at the Coastal Getaway, in the Beach Club. Family oriented
Decorated really nice. The A/C seemed to not cool that good. We turned it down but it makes quite a bit of noise when turns on. Also, need better seating for outside patio, pillows torn. We would stay agin, loved location. Very quiet.

Lovely well kept condo. With ocean view from balcony, nice pool, walking distance to the beach. It is on the third floor w no elevators, so elderly or infirm guests need to be aware of this. This particular unit is a studio. Was perfect for a couple, but families should go with a larger unit. Very nice. No issues at all.
