Nice Renovation
My husband and I have stayed at this condo before the renovations. The renovations were nicely done. The condo had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were comfortable and loved the updated shower in the master bathroom. I would suggest two things for this condo: a full length mirror in the master bedroom and a deadbolt on the front door. The property is in a great location, a half a block from the beach. Padre Escapes is always communicative and there if you need them.

Wedding trip
Our unit was recently totally remodeled down to the studs. All new appliances and furniture. Our daughter lives in the complex and our unit was so much nicer. We did not go to the beach as it was just to hot and windy for us. Hope to come back in the fall or next spring and will try to rent this same unit again .

Vacation Condo
Everything was clean and beds were soft. Love that we could wash clothes and cook. The only bad thing was the renters upstairs. I understand that kids will run sometimes. But that child would not stop. Parents did not even try to stop or redirect the child to stop all day. Other than that, we love this condo and will recommend Padre Escapes to all our friends and family.

Once again we were treated great by Padre Escapes. We have dealt with them for several years and never had a bad experience. Having said that, we were very disappointed with the Beach Club owner. 80 degrees in november
Great weather and location. Kayaked among the wonderful shorebirds almost everyday. Used the sparkling pool and hotub. Walked to the beach and boardwalk from the unit. Shopped at the isand supermarket and ate at the wonderful local eateries. 80 degrees in November is remarkable.

Family 3 Day Vacation
This was my 3rd visit to the Beach Club Condominiums and by far this was my worst experience. The unit that we
stayed in did not match the pictures that were advertised. Unit 161 is in serious need of
an upgrade. There are noticeable areas on the walls that have been patched over.
The coffee table has a noticeable splintered leg, the
flooring has noticeable
residual adhesive on it. There
was rust in the ceiling in
the second bathroom from a
door trap that wasn't completely shut. The
dishwasher was inoperable,
cooking ware is old,
refrigerator is rusted on the
side,coffee maker is old and
doesn't work properly and
most disturbing were the
multiple baby frogs that were in the bathtub nightly in the
second bathroom. I do have
pictures to support my concerns. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we enjoyed the ground amenities.

OK but complex had issues
Overall it was fine for a short excursion to the beach. However given the high price we were charged and extra fees it was disappointing. When we arrived there was construction on the building. We had no dedicated parking space that we were promised. We had to walk around the complex to get to the unit - which was challenging with kids and a baby. Work was being done the entire time with tons of noise starting at 8am. Padre did not once offer anything except "sorry - we don't control the HOA". The unit itself was dated but clean and things worked fine. Proximity to the beach was good.

Wonderful place to stay!
We have stayed at the Beach Club in the past, and were happy to stay again this year (2022). The rental property was very clean and check in was simple and efficient (we even got to check in way earlier than the check in time). The property is fully equipped with everything you might need for a week stay at the beach (except coffee filters). The beach is so close that walking to driving takes no time at all. We swam in the waves and played in the sand, hung by the pool, fished the pond, grilled some burgers, ran along the beach, and absolutely loved our vacation!! Definitely recommend the Beach Club!!

4th of July stay
We enjoyed our stay for the most part the only issue was all the stickers on the grass so made it difficult to walk my dog and asphalt very hot.
I would suggest for grounds/landscaping have better upkeep.

Perfect little getaway
This was the perfect spot for vacay with my family. Easy walk to the beach and the pool is great. We have stayed at these little condos for years and will continue to do so.

Great location but ...
We like the location but this unit could use the carpets/rugs cleaned and a better quality master bed. Also the dog hair on the quest bed pillows was never addressed after i reported it, a dirty plate was also found in the cupboard

Could have been cleaner. The family above us had a few children and they ran back and forth all the time. Very noisey!

We are in the process of deep cleaning every property after a busy summer. We apologize for any cleaning issues you experienced but they will be better going forward. LOVE THIS COMPLEX!!!
I have stayed in several different condos at Beach Club & have had no issues! I absolutely LOVE the hot tub, heated pool & having the beach so close by! I most definitely recommend this place! All the girls who assist with booking, questions, etc. are so friendly & helpful! Most recently, I booked the Beachside Retreat #161 & brought some friends. We absolutely loved it! No complaints whatsoever! My only suggestion, to help first time guests, would be that staff make sure that they know which building their unit is in. My first stay, not knowing my way around the complex, it took a while to find my condo. I WILL BE BACK! :)

Great place, family enjoyed the visit and the property managers!
We’ve stayed at the same condos before, always enjoyable. This was no different! The location is perfect for us, the property is well-maintained, the pool and the gym were a big plus! But bring your mosquito spray, ha. The field between the condo and the beach left us covered head to toe during morning walks. We also had a neighbor that left a bag of trash out when they left, seemed to be accidental. One call to our managers at Padre Escapes and the HOA was out within a couple hours to handle. Everyone we spoke to was great, the charges were handled accurately and the key codes delivered in a very timely manner. The condo itself was nice inside, nice furniture, amenities and several options for TV service. The DVD is not blue ray— we have a family tradition of watching the Harry Potter series but our blue ray DVDs didn’t play. No problem though, the Specturm On Demand service to the rescue! Overall a great trip and I doubt you’d be disappointed in your stay.

Great Location
This property was ideally located near the beach and had easy access to their pool. The check-in and check-out were very easy.
Unfortunately, in a place like this, you are the mercies of everyone around you. Our trip ended on a sour note with insanely loud people and a call to the police. I wish there was a better way to enforce noise violations.

Comfortable Condo!
The condo was very comfortable. Master bath shower fixtures need replacing but everything else was in good condition. We would return again.

Great Vacation Stay
The condo was very comfortable and met all our needs. It was a little difficult to turn on the shower in the master bathroom. A complaint is that the pool area does not have enough shady areas or umbrellas.

My wife and I were impressed with this unit. We have stayed in numerous rentals in the area and this one hit all the marks. Well appointed, clean, comfortable, first floor easy access and two minutes to the beach. We will rent it again if it is available in the future.

Great location -
The location was great, put my feet in water every day for 2.5 months. The condo itself needs to be refreshed - a little weathered. The townhome community has a problematic head of the HOA - likes to harass renters, and cuss at them.

Nice place to stay
We were pleased with the accommodations of this rental. It was comfortable and nice. The location was great because it was very close to the beach. Working with Padre Escapes was a pleasant experience and we will continue to book through them in the future.

Nice place near the beach
We enjoyed our stay at Beachside Retreat. It is near Whitecap beach (walking distance) but we chose to drive to the National Seashore, which is not far. The weekend we stayed (May 2020) the pool was closed per local laws, so we did not use it. The place had everything we needed for our long weekend, including cooking stuff in the kitchen and linens, towels, etc. A few more towels (6 were provided) would have been helpful. Thanks for a great stay!

This condo is close to the beach, ground floor,fully equipped,nicey decorated.
When I mentioned that a vital piece of furniture could use replacing, not only was the property management company fast, the owner agreed, thank you.

Summer vacation
This was our fourth time staying in these condos. We have enjoyed ourselves every time we have been there. Being on the first floor is the best. The condo is in a great location. Our family enjoyed it very much. We look forward to another time that we can come again.

Won't be back
Very small 2 br condo. Very tight for 4 people. The armchair recliner smelled awful and needs to be replaced. The sofa was very hard and the cushions kept sliding out. Dirty pool and lukewarm hot tub. Very windy conditions tho. For what we paid we will not be back. Ladies at check-in and checkout were awesome

Padre Escapes are wonderful no so for Beach club management
Anything we needed was promptly taken care of by Padre Escapes. The Manager of the Beach Club is not good at pool management. This is our second year with an ice cold pool, and the hot tub was green for two days. We really like the facilities,and easy access to the beach. Many good local restaurants, and golf.

Very pleased!
We were in Corpus to attend a naval change of command. THe location of the condos was perfect for that. We also enjoyed how close and convenient it was to get to the beach. The pool was great for cooling off and relaxing when we had some free time. The condo was very clean, and comfortable. We will stay here again on our next trip to Corpus Christi!
