It was awesome to stay there. All the rooms were great, full kitchen, enough seating for all. step out the back door and there is the swimming pool. A block away was the beach, walking distance.

Everything was great! We had lots of fun! The only problem we had was the sink upstairs was draining very slow, so everyone upstairs had to go downstairs and brush their teeth. There was also a little problem with ants, but not too bad. The only other thing I would recommend is that if we are to put the trash in the dumpsters out back, we would need a key to get in/out of the pool gate because we have to go through there in order to get over there. Someone had to let us in/out. Otherwise, our experience was great and we really enjoyed everything.

We went for a 4-day weekend with 4 generations. The major complaint was that there were ants everywhere - outside the front door, the back porch, inside at the top of the stairs and along the common wall behind, under and on the table. The first night, the ants were crawling in our food faster than we could eat it. We bought spray to keep them away. We tried washing towels before we left and the dryer SUCKS! After three cycles, the towels were still not dry - if not for the ants, it would have been faster to hang them outside to dry. The other problem was the table and mostly the benches - the way they are built is an extreme trip hazard. I, in fact, tripped over the leg of one of the benches and fell. Other than that, the size was perfect for our group. The access to the pool is amazing.

This place is terrific and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. However, there are a few minor negative things that I'll mention:
1) Place wasn't ready for us to check in right at 4pm,which when you pay as much as we did was not cool. After being on the road most of the day we were ready to get our vacation started but didn't get our access code texted to us until almost 4:30
2) There was no broom in the place and with 7 kids the floor stayed pretty messy
3) The bench base is long and sticks out far, we all stubbed our toes on it and it was very painful
4) The dryer doesn't work well, each load had to be ran twice
We realized late in the evening that the cooling units in the bedrooms didn't work so I called and they came around midnight (about 1.5 hours after I called) and installed window units which kept the temperature comfortable for the remainder of our trip.
Again, very minor, and definitely wouldn't deter me from staying here again as the pros (location, heated pool, multiple bedrooms, smart tvs) far outweigh any cons!!

We enjoyed the overhead tarps in the sitting area of the pool- these weren't there last visit. It was nice to see new furniture in kitchen/living area and new dishware for the kitchen. We love the keyless entry! For bunk bed top bunk - we would have appreciated if that had been made up and we didn't have to do that. Futon bed should be replaced upstairs. The washer and dryer are starting to show age and should be replaced. Took couple cycles to dry towels. It would be nice if there was a way to walk from the front to the back of the condo from the outside. A board was missing from the back fence which could allow for small animals to enter. Is there anyway to create one additional parking space instead of the rocks on the right side of the driveway? I was sorry to see property sold across the street. Once a house or whatever goes up, it will now obstruct the view of the bay area. Overall, we had a great experience and the weather cooperated except for the last day (rain).

Overall it was ok. Small pool and too many people in it. We weren't able to check in till 5pm due to a maintenance issue that really wasn't fixed and left one room with a box fan and no air condition.

Padre escapes was great. Called and informed me of roaches reported by last guest who stayed at original property I had reserved and said it would be taken care of. But asked if I would mind moving to a different unit while the exterminators worked. The unit I was asked to move to had more bedrooms and bathrooms which worked out even better for me as my party was 7 people. Property was great. Location was amazing. Short walk to beach. Pool right outside back door. Pool was very well kept. San Antonio is 2 1/2 hours away so took a day to visit the Alamo. Enjoyed visiting Selena museum and surf museum. Talked to very friendly lady working at visitor center in corpus christi. Can't wait to visit again. Will definitely book with padre escapes again. Only 2 complaints. Downstairs bedrooms had their own a/c units but still were not able to keep cool. Upstairs was very cold compared to downstairs(not sure why) and the previous guest had overrun the garbage can outside and it was there at check in. Garbage pick up apparently is on Friday. We checked in sunday and checked out friday. I was not able to find dumpster that was supposed to be on site to dispose of our garbage from our stay and had to store in recycling can for the week

Padre Escapes is a very pleasant and efficient rental agency with which to deal. Any questions or concerns we had were dealt with immediately. Maintenance issues (very few) were resolved on the day we called. The unit we rented was in good repair and very clean. We were a short walk from the beach and went there every day. The location of the unit is convenient to shopping and restaurants, and is in a quiet, residential area. We will continue to rent our vacation “home” through Padre Escapes.

This is our third tie to stay here. We rent both sides for our large 18+ member family ranging in age from 8 mo to 77 yrs. There are plenty of beds so none of the adults have to sleep in a bunk bed. It is within walking distance of the beach, but there is also a large parking lot right next to the beach. The shared pool is an extra bonus at the end of the day when you just want to relax and cool off after a day at the beach. My only complaint is the mattresses are a little too firm for my preference, but that is minor compared to everything good.

It was a good house that slept our family of ten very nicely. There was a distinct smell when we arrived. We used our sprays to try and eliminate the smell. The kitchen said it was stocked, but there wasn’t a medium or large skillet which was annoying.
The only real negative thing we encountered was the pool. The information does not address the fact that you are sharing one small pool with the entire condo complex behind you. We thought we were sharing it with the other side of the duplex, which was understandable. The people were not abiding by the rules, therefore our grandchildren were only able to swim for a little while right after we arrived. They wanted to swim after we had gone to the beach, but there was always too many people in and around the pool area.

This place is great, so relaxing. You may stay at the pool or go to the beach.. it’s not very far. The house is spacious, plenty of room for several people . Perfect for a BIG group! My son and his friends had a blast.

Nice clean and spacious for a family getaway.
Office was very helpful and speedy to assist when our other host cancelled. It's not easy to find one space with separate private bedrooms and 3 baths too. We were lucky they have multiple properties to offer unlike the Airbnb single home host.

Everything was there and worked. Very slim on furniture, the furniture there was either super cheap and small or very used, stained, or broken. Walls with missing paint and scuffs. Very dirty feel. Foot print stained into concrete. Very splotchy concrete stain. House smells of humidity and has unpleasant smell when you enter. We bought air freshener and candle for this.

The house is there and functional. Great access to the pool. Pool area was clean and has grills and tables.

Rented two condo side by side for 22 family members to vacation on South Padre. 15018 was amazing with only one minor hiccup upon arrival. Roaches! Called and they came and sprayed. We had no signs of them afterwards. Yippee. Dishes in both units had to be cleaned as did my master bath as had handprints in it. The other 15022 needs some serious love. As I stated to office the minute I opened the door it was very musty & had dirty and stained furniture. The paperwork said Lucy had cleaned on 7/2 but was pretty evident that wasn’t the case. Later it was discovered overall cleanliness was lacking. Dust enough to write messages, dirty dishes and bad air filters. Which we cleaned & changed ourselves. Back door was broken and maintenance took care of it quickly.
Was a bit disappointing to that we were told we were 1.5 blocks from beach with no roads to cross and actually we were a twenty minute walk with two roads to cross so meant driving each visit since we had small kids. Overall for cost per day these things were disappointing. With that being said, The location to Schlitterbahn and shopping was great. Also less than 15 minutes to HEB and Walmart.

This is our go to spot for the last three years. My family has loves this place because of the easy access to the pool and short walk to the beach. For the last two trades we have rented both sides of this duplex. It’s a lovely property that unfortunately is beginning to show the wear and tear. Not sure if we will make this four years in row because of this.

Loved that the swimming pool was just outside of the back door. I was able to fish on the other side of the street (front door) and the beach was only a block away. House is roomy and was clean.

One thing that could be improved, my opinion, dining room table was to big for the area. This made it difficult to pass with multiple people in the area.

I can honestly say that by renting homes yearly around this location this is by far the best one. We loved everything about our stay. The amount of rooms was great. The kitchen and living room was open. The pool was right outside the back porch. Beds were comfortable and clean, which is something I always I look at.

Our family - my wife and I, two adult children with spouses and five grandchildren stayed for six days the last week of June. We had a grand time. One minute by car from beach - very clean pool and lounging area with lots of shade and seating. Only comment would be that if you’re planning to cook in a bunch, the age/condition of the cookware will disappoint those of us who are spoiled by what we have at home - just a note, not a criticism- it is after all a rental property. Washer & dryer work great - a must with eleven of us and wet beach towels!!

Our experience with everything from the rental company (Padre Escapes) to the house was fantastic. This was the third time we stayed in either side of this duplex and we will continue to do so every time our business takes us to Corpus. The house is in great condition. We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen. The college students with us enjoyed the shared pool out back. It's literally steps away from the back door.

We had a wonderful time. We rented both duplexes, plenty of room and space for 25 plus! The location was easy to find. Easy access to the beach walking or driving! We had a wonderful time at the Texas State Aquarium, very educational and fun. We made memories that will last forever! The management company was very friendly and professional.

This is our 2nd year to stay here and we will definitely be back. We booked both sides for our large family. Love that most of the beds are either queen or king. The pool right outside the door is another wonderful perk. It's within walking distance (a couple of blocks) to the beach, and there is a large parking lot right next to the beach if you want to drive. Schlitterbahn is about a mile away and there are several good restaurants within a couple of miles. We love Snoopy's. HEB is only a couple of miles.
There were a couple of problems but they were fixed right away. They were having AC problems before we got there, but the repairman was there within a few minutes of our checking in and it was cool shortly thereafter. The refrigerator wasn't as cool as it should have been in one unit. They sent someone to look at it and it got a little cooler, but never quite as cool as the one next door. They explained that it sometimes warms up while being cleaned between bookings and takes awhile to cool off again.
I would definitely recommend this place.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Aruba Breach Getaway II. We love the place and will stay there again next time. We wish the AC in the main part of the house worked. We did call and turn it in but the termostat was always off.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had plenty of room for the whole family. I loved having the pool steps away from our back door. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only suggestion I would make is to add hooks in the bedrooms to hang towels and hooks on the patio for wet swimsuits. Overall my family will definitely stay here again.

We had a blast! Condo was nice & clean & had anything inside it u wanted. It was 1 block off beach very easy to walk to, had pool 50ft out back door that was big hit with kids bc it was red flags at beach so no swimming on it. There was a fence between condo & pool to keep kids out of it very nice it broke called maintenance number and he came in under hour and fixed it in 5min I would use company again we got what we saw in pic & what they said they answered questions head of time check in & & out was a snap I wish it was baby proof my only thing I didn't like

We brought a group of kids for a church event in Corpus Christi. We chose to stay here because we thought it would make for a more enjoyable experience than staying in a hotel. The kids had a blast! The only negative thing that could be said is that we could have used more towels than were provided.

We enjoyed our stay at Aruba 2. It was great having the pool right out the back door. The beds were comfortable and the kichen qas great. My only suggestion is to maybe add a mop and change the mattress on the futon. Thanks Padre escapes

We rented both sides for our group of 17. Loved the fact that kitchen and living areas are downstairs plus one or more bedrooms. All but one of the bedrooms have either king or queen beds - bunk for 4 in the other one, plus futons and sleeper sofas. TVs in all bedrooms and living rooms - even in the upstairs hallways where the futons are. Convenient for my son who is in a wheelchair. Pool right in back. Only drawback is it is shared by several other units. Only about 2-1/2 blocks from the beach (easy walk). Large parking lot right next to the beach with ramps going down to the beach. Lots of places to eat and Schlitterbahn only about a mile away.

The condo was great. We had 13 people in our party. We all had a place to sleep place was very clean and well kept. The only things I would have like to see would be cleaning items. Broom and or vacuum so we could tidy up. More kit ken supplies like a cutting board, good can opener, etc. other then that things were awesome. Would definetly stay there again. Rental property staff were so polite and helpful as well.

Should consider that we bring families with children to these places, it was great but to sit children to eat on tall stool is inconsiderate. I hade an 8 year old that her foot got caught in the middle of the stool trying to get off when she finished her dinner, then fell 3 feet to the cement ground, fell folded on her spine while her foot still caught on the stooland screamed her lungs out in Pain. Please bring down the dining table, we had toddlers that needed to eat at a table as well. Doors on some rooms did not lock, we did not receive an emergency key besides the keypad code and got locked out, it happened while going to beach thru back door, a guest locked d door with pad lock and went out the back and locked d bottom one, yes it happens. almost calling a locksmith on a Saturday but managed to open it, laundry door handle slips off. Ice machine in tefrigerator had a melted block of ice in d chute and had to take it out so it can work.

We hate to hear a little one fell and got hurt, we hope she's OK and we'll certainly pass along your feedback to the owner. That's the first we've heard of such an incident there. There is a shorter patio table with shorter chairs that would be ideal for kids. We will also make sure the laundry doors, ice maker and bedroom doors are functioning properly. We rented both Aruba units for our family reunion of 22 people. As far as space went it was excellent. The location was very good, unfortunate for us there was a red tide that week, so we didn't utilize the close beach access. There was plenty of bedding and towels, and the pool made up for our red tide issue in the ocean. I did have a very huge issue with the cleanliness. the floors turned our feet a fuzzy black within four hours. the toilets looked clean on the outside but inside black mold! The dishes were also dirty. And some of the bedding were even dirty. That upset me the most because I was charged a cleaning fee for both units. why should I be charged if I'm walking into filth?

We apologize for the cleaning issues you had to deal with. That is certainly not up to our usual standard. The floors have been an issue for us and we will be addressing them next month. We'll notify the cleaners of the toilet, dishes, and bedding issues and work on improving them. We again apologize for the issues you had to deal with but we do appreciate your feedback.

We had a great time. The place was clean and had everything we need it. We could have used more pots and pans since we were a large group. Overall we had a great time ??

I think you got the rating system wrong. 5 stars is good 1-2 stars is bad. You gave us 1-2 stars on everything but you say had a good time and recommend it to others. Glad you had a great time though. We'll get some more pots and pans in there. Thanks for the feedback.

The rental was great!! The location was perfect. Close to the beach, within walking distance. Clean, with spacious rooms. Enjoyed the pool very much! The kitchen could use a few more utensils, a hand mixer, more towels and more pot holders. But all in all its a great place to spend your vacation at. I have and will recommend it to others. The people at Padre Escapes, are friendly and willing to accommodate you in any way.. TY for a great stay..

Beautiful place and location was perfect. Pool was wonderful and the gated area was a perfect spot for the little ones. We rented both sides to accommodate are large group and we had plenty of room. The beach was a block away and the location was close to other attractions. Even the rain didn't put a damper on our stay. Wonderful place!

We celebrated Christmas and Anniversaries for 5 days at Aruba Escape 1 & 2. There were 18 of us and the location was the best! The kiddos got to go to the beach, swim in the pool, and play in an area that allowed the adults to still watch football games.

CONDO APPEARED NEAT & CLEAN, HOSE TO WASH OFF WHEN RETURNING FROM BEACH WAS GREAT,as was washer & dryer in condo, KIDS ENJOYED POOL, access to cleaning supplies(brooms, mops) would be a help inside during the stay, only problem was floor dirty to walk on

This rental was in a good location and we liked the house but it was infested with ants and the property manger did not respond to our calls to take care of the problem.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately those sugar ants can be an issue at times here on the island, it's a never-ending battle but we did drop off ant spray for you and we have had regular treatment of the property.

Could have used a trash receptacle instead of having to walk our trash over to a dumpster on the other side of the swimming pool. Also, could have used a fly swatter. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay.

very nice place. Short walk to the beach and when you don't want to be at the beach you can enjoy the pool and barbecuing. the only thing that we did not have were utensils for barbecuing and something to make pancakes and heat tortillas on. . other than that it was perfect. We just love to cook and eat!! Our family will be back and sure to let others know about this location.
